RangerLife Africa is dedicated to ensuring the well-being of Africa's wildlife rangers that risk their lives daily to safeguard endangered species and vulnerable ecosystems.

With a dangerous job comes the need for security and peace of mind. We believe that every Ranger deserves the protection they provide to others, which is why our mission is to provide life insurance coverage to every Ranger in Africa.

Since 2011, more than 1,500 rangers have lost their lives in the line of duty. The vast majority of these rangers had no life insurance, leaving their loved ones with nothing, no compensation, no financial security, just loss.

RangerLife Africa exists to change this. Through a simple, affordable membership, we can ensure that every ranger has the life cover they deserve. But this isn’t just about what we can do as an organisation, it’s about what we can do together.

How We Raise Funds

We offer a unique, member-supported model that allows individuals and organisations to directly fund life insurance policies for rangers.

Every RangerLife Africa member will directly fund one, five or fifty policies through an affordable annual membership.

As a member, you’ll gain exclusive access to our members area, where you can stay updated on conservation efforts, read powerful stories from the field, and explore our annual impact report. You’ll also receive regular email updates and invitations to exclusive RangerLife seminars, where leading conservationists share their insights and experiences.
